In Vitro Drug Profiling
Our Drug Profiling Unit performs in vitro assays to assess the activity of novel therapeutic compounds developed by our pharmaceutical clients in order to identify the molecular target and determine drug efficacy. We offer a large panel of cell lines obtained from a wide variety of different tumors including brain, breast, colon, gastric, head and neck, lung, melanoma, ovary, pancreas, prostate and other solid tumors.
We are experienced in characterization of new targeted therapies and are therefore focused on developing novel proprietary cell lines resistant to specific targeted drugs. In addition to services based on our current portfolio, we also have the capabilities to develop new cell lines ad-hoc, upon request by our clients.

We perform:
-
MTT proliferation assays
-
Western blotting
-
Colony formation, migration and invasion assays
-
Gene silencing
In addition, through our partnerships, we are able to offer in vivo pharamacology in animal models upon request by our clients.
Our Molecular Oncology Laboratory is fully staffed by a team of highly experienced molecular biologists and pathologists and our dedicated In Vivo Unit is equipped with the latest processing and storage facilities.
