Connecting Minds And Advancing Cancer Research:
Empowering Early-Career Researchers

We are pleased to share the success story of Anisha Jain, a dedicated PhD student from the JSS Medical Research, Karnataka, India. Thanks to the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) Travel Fellowship, Anisha had a chance to join us at Instituto Oncológico Dr. Rosell for a few months in 2023. Her experience illustrates how global collaboration can help unlock the mysteries of cancer.

Anisha’s objective was to decipher the intricacies of targeting KRAS G12C-mutant NSCLC and to better understand why some treatments work for a while and then cease to be effective. Her dedication and innovative research contributed to our collective understanding of cancer biology. Anisha also found time to enjoy Barcelona culture, making cherished memories along the way.
Dr. Rafael Rosell is excited to have been part of her journey and looks forward to even more collaborations in the future.
